Leaving Texas, we stopped in New Mexico’s “Three Rivers National Recreational Area” to see some of the 21,000 glyphs made by the Jornada Mogolon who inhabited the area from 1000 years to some 600 years.
Since we had reservations for lodging in Albuquerque that night, we could only see a fraction of the petroglyphs at the site. We found it a very unique site that would take several days to see all the rock art.
