Continuing through Needles into Arizona we stopped south of Flagstaff to see the Homol’ovi Pueblos (1250 – 1500) near Winslow that once housed several thousand people. We visited archeological site II and found a few standing wall structures that once were part of a 2,000-room pueblo. Not far from this site we found some petroglyphs before we traveled to Holbrook.
