The rain last night altered Nina’s plans and we headed to the John Hutchings Museum of Natural & Cultural History in Lehi that houses a remarkable collection of well-displayed local history, rock art and fossil.
We headed north toward the Great Salt Lake and a rock art site that Nina and Utah Rock Art and Research Assoc. is trying to protect from the impacts of a near by “rifle range” that is damaging the rock art. The rifle range needs to be relocated, but the BLM is not politically willing to do so.
