After a decade of wanting to see John's Canyon, Nina and Joe volunteered to take us in. The Canyon is in a remote stretch between the San Juan River and Grand Gulch. The summer and fall rains that swept through this part of the Colorado Plateau invariably make getting in and out of the canyon difficult if not impossible.
While the road was not in great condition we were able to get to most of the sites and thoroughly enjoyed being in this remote country.
