Three times this Spring I have gone up to the Napa Valley after many years neglect. We went to three totally different wineries taking in the Russian River and vineyards along the way. We had a perfectly wonderful progressive picnic from one winery's garden and picnic area to the next. The first had three huge Hop storage structures and a pond which we ate by. The second one had lots of Eco friendly farming practices and gorgeous gardens. The third was Raymond Burr's Winery which was the most casual and super friendly. We did not need to go into them or wine taste to appreciate the generous picnic areas and gardens they provided for the public.
