I spent a wonderful day with Diana going back to Jack London's Park. This year we took a hike to his man made lake that is now filled in with invasive water weeds and cat tails. Diana, who knows this park well was able to give me a lot of history of the different buildings. I felt I had my own private tour guide. Last time we hiked down a path to the huge burnt out ruins of the mansion he was building and it was in Febuary and there was greenery everywhere. Moss hanging off of trees, fog, mist and ferns. this trip was filled with gardens of old fashion flowers, golden hills and beautiful huge silhouettes of Oak Trees. We then had a picnic and I hope we return again soon.
