I went to Grass Valley to visit Janet and Dugan this past weekend. Dugan and I made a cabinet for our living room in three short days. He also showed me his beautiful chair he has created. Now that I have given up all my tools of my past trade, it was wonderful to watch him at work with all his skills and passion.
While we slaved away in the workshop, Janet cooked and cooked and cooked and put out new spreads, each delicious and much appreciated.
Lucy their dog is amazing with the tricks from Dugan's constant training challenges and Sweetie, their cat is sweet indeed.
The orchard of many varieties of fruit trees are just budding out and the daffodils have broken ground. I hope to return soon when the Dogwoods bloom.
