Our day began with a tour of Eastern Castle Dale, a part of town we hadn't seen and found some unique homes and animals. Our next stop was the Forest Service Office in Ferron where I was assured the road from Joe's Valley Reservoir to Electric Lake was in good condition. As we climbed through the valley, the road's condition discinerated into a track that followed the ridge line of the mountain to Electric Lake - a harrowing experience! On the way down to Huntington canyon, we were greatly saddened to see the desvestration of Huntington Creek which was silted in due to a forrest fire and flooding.
