In route to the Grand Tetons, we traveled along Palisades Lake where Sharon discovered several Ospreys and a series of nesting sites created by enlightened local folks. Arriving in Jackson we made a trip into the Nation Elk Refuge and then tried to see the Grand Tetons. Due to the smoke from Montana forest fires we could only see faint outlines of the Tetons. Our tour of the southern Teton Park then provided the only Moose of the trip.
