I loved this strange floating market. Mark said it is one of the only remaining ones left in Thailand. It is the tourist trade that has kept it afloat.
Of course I could not resist the chance to hold a huge snake for photo opportunites to show my grandson. Not perhaps the most principaled thing to do, but I bent my feelings around my shoulder as the snake was wrapped around me.
