This morning we met with our friend Joe Brame with whom we will be hiking and glyphing for several days as we explore sites on our way to Moab. We also spoke with George Coombs, the rancher who owns Cactus Court Motel. He gave us a tour of his vintage 1960 sheep camp trailer and invited us to see some glyphs on a boulder on his property the next day.

We spent the morning hiking near Sulfur Creek with Joe leading the way to see a beautiful Freemont pictograph. From there we headed up Notom Road and took an afternoon hike down Burro Wash in search of the Bloody Hands Panel. Unfortunately, we ran out of the daylight necessary to find the site and return safely. We had a beautiful hike and hope to find the site next year.
