We drove through the West entrance of Yellowstone NP and spent the day lost in rivers, vernal pools, and wildlife. We nearly circled the Yellowstone Plateau taking photos of the Yellowstone River, Elk, Red Fox and Buffalo.Toward the end of the day we managed to see Barronette Peak (10,000 feet) on the way to Montana and to our lodging in Lewiston.
