There was a wonderful demonstration organized to celebrate Juneteenth. It was held at the intersection of Curtis and Gilman at a four way stop for cars, most honking in support.
Some wonderful lead songs and many families in attendance. The shrine that Malanna and I built on in the beginning a week ago has grown with plants and flag stones, and other art work. I was thrilled when so many folks came up to me and thanked me for the two poems Tiffany and Malanna shared with their neighbors.
