Glenn had a several sites for us to see near El Paso and we spent our last day seeing Sacred Waters, the Mullen Site – Centipede Cave and Cunningham Tank. The Rock Rattler has to be one of the most amazing experiences of our trip. We were in Centipede Cave for some twenty minutes looking at the incredible pictographs while Sharon took pictures of the site inundated with layers of compelling rock art. As John stood up to leave he noticed a rattlesnake two feet away from him. Not once did the snake make any aggressive moves or rattle a warning! It seemed content to have our company. He had been sitting next to it for our entire stay in the cave.

This was our last site with a dear friend who generously shared with us places of great beauty and power. Such a gift!
