The habitation sites and Basketmaker glyphs that are along the San Juan River near the confluence of Comb Wash west of Bluff were absolutely captivating. We returned to Bluff that evening just in time to attend the Navajo Pow Wow in progress at their rodeo. Wind, lightening and thunderstorms moved up the Comb Wash toward Monticello enhanced the magic of the evening, just missing Bluff and the Pow Wow.
