We drove by fields of conlola flowers in bloom and past huge barns standing guard so it seemed in the flat endless sea of landscape.
Arriving at the visiting center, there was great excitment for the park had just that morning become one of the world's heritage sites. The visiting center was captivating for it had many interactive displays.
We hopped on a park shuttle bus and were driven to several beautifully sites. This was one of the most lovely sites tucked into the most unusual rock formations.
Randy, our Blackfoot guide was both informitive and charming in telling stories of his people and some of the meaning of the glyphs we were seeing.
After the main tour, Ranger Rebecca Wilde, took us four on a private tour. We returned to the visiting center to celebrate with everybody and enjoyed the cake and good cheers.
