This was a very unexpected and pleasant performance. The puppeteers used long 6 foot poles to guide the wooden puppets around in the water in the forground of the stage.
The puppets told popular folk lure stories and the musicians that accompanied the performance enhanced our experience.
We had yet another form of transportation, this time a cycle-rickshaw. I never feel completely comfortable with people pulling or pushing people in carts but it was another view of the traffic and street scenes seen in a very fluid movement. We went to a beer garden and I ate split duck tongues while looking at western themed murals painted on the walls of the establishment.
