The first few photos are of some colorful canes I made at a recent clay date. They have not yet been shaped and pressed down to make more refined ones. The second few boxes on black and white stripes and checked clay are the cut ends of these different canes. They make kind of playful little abstracts. The last box lids are of my tribal series I was making up at Sea Ranch. I was so disappointed with them at the time but when I came home and started assembling them I just loved this series.
