We began our day with a drive up Huntington Canyon to fish the creek for a few hours. We discovered the creek had been transformed into a river due to a heavy snow pack in the mountains and recent rains. Fishing was rather slow until the last stop on the creek, when monster trout attacked and John was fortunate to catch and release three fish in the 3 to 4 pound range. Later that afternoon we headed out on to the San Rafael Swell to visit one of our favorite water holes to see the wild life.
