We have had the good fortune to see the Navaho Pow Wow in Bluff on a number of occasions. This year was unusual in that instead of spending the evening watching the Navajo dancing we decided to go to the rodeo first. We found the rodeo exciting with outstanding horsemanship.

Later that evening , a thunderstorm rolled in with high winds, dust clouds and then a downpour that terminated the event for the evening. We had stopped to get fry bread just before heading to the dancing when the wind nearly blew the booth away and we found our selves helping to anchor the booth down until our fry bread was ready. Running for the car Sharon found the wind blown rain hilarious she had to stop running while urging John sprint to the car and then retrieve her.
