This was a very emotional experience walking through the fields of mass genocide. I was only able to absorb a little at a time. I got very intrigued with the bright colored little string bracelots left as prayers and blessing for the fallen ones. I was think ing of my granddaughter’s love of these bracelets, not what they represented. Quite often my first impressions of a trip morph as time goes on and I have time to reflect on my experieinces when traveling.
