We took an incredible side trip on State Highway 89 to Burney, Ca to this lovely park and its waterfalls. It was early morning and only a couple of other soles were enjoying the views. But by the time we headed back up hill to the car droves of folks were coming in to enjoy the views of water falls, rainbows, moss covered boulders and beautiful paths through this lush green envoronment. John and I are so lucky to so often miss the crowds by minutes, when hiking to special places which we then have to ourselves.
