John and I finally caught up with Carol and George and they took us to China Camp in Marin where we had never gone before. What a lovely historic place, still the little museum and Cafe open with items from the past. This was a shrimping village for about 15 families and they caught and processed shrimp to sell in SF.
Old Pier, this was one of the first sights one sees when parking in this National Park.We had a picnic lunch before scouting the village. We then walked down hill into the little shrimping village.Carol Stopped for some gas.We were then greeted by one of the remaining relatives of the village in her uncle's little cafe.A photo of the village when it was a profitable business.
