Marlo and I spent a day a week ago making cake molds and she making the front versade of her birthday cottage cake . Sandra came over and the two girls baked the chocolate cakes first mixing three cake mixes and stirring, stirring, stirring.
Then later they decorated the landscape that the cake cottage was set on and made a stream, horse corral and flag stones leading up to the cottage. The best cake she thought ever!
Todd, Corina and Justin joined us and Jim flew in from NY to surprise Marlo and that he did. Beside the family, Willa and Sandra, two of Marlo's friends joined us for the end of the summer, mid week birthday party.
