Barbara Lee and I left Berkeley at 5AM one morning to chase the sunrise and moon set in Napa Valley With Map Quest's directions we looped around and went over the Martinez Bridge twice and made many wrong turns. It did not matter, we were fogged in with mist and dampness. But the mustard greens growing between the vineyards were beautiful, although not the greatest photography conditions.

I did not mind at all for I took more interest in the surroundings then the vineyards themselves. It was great going with such an accomplished photographer who was generous in sharing techniques. We well no doubt have vastly different interpretations of the same scenes, she being more interested in landscapes and me zooming into smaller views of the world around us.
