We celebrated Mateo’s fourth birthday party with his new little buddy friend Liam. Mateo and I meet him at the Children’s Museum every Wednesday and the two are inseparateable. Volcano’s were the theme and Grace came up with a terrific Volcano Piñata she made. It had streamers underneath the structure and when you pulled the right one- in this case the orange streamer the trap door open and out poured the goodies. Much more civilized than smashing a piñata with a club.
Oh yes the Volcano cake was a huge sucess also. The inside was a bright blue angel food cake with laywers of volcanic lava homemade whipped cream and strawberries. It looked absolutely gross when cut open and tasted heavenly devine.The boys enjoyed filling it’s core with gummy worms, coco puffs and M&M’s. The erruption was perfect.
