We left Moab and headed south to Bluff to stay for a few days and find some glyphs along the San Juan River. Upon our arrival that afternoon, we decided to hike down Butler’s Wash to its confluence with the San Juan River and show Mike and Glenn the glyphs and a habitation site at the mouth of the wash before we ran out of day light. We found the wash overgrown with Russian Olive trees whose terrible thorns make bush whacking dangerous!

Our thanks to Glenn for the photo 5 which is a shot across Butler's Wash of a panel up high on the cliff face of a bluff.
