I could have personally skipped going to this sight. There were three hundred steps up to a cement platform and temple on Phousi hill. The 360 degree view was diluted with hundreds of tourist sqeezing by each other to gain access to take photos from different angles of the platform.
Town of Luang Prabang was quiet cahrming though and it was nice walking through it.
