Day 2 is always one of the two longest traveling days of our trip. It was a rather gloomy grey, and often misty day, but a great day to once again view now familiar landmarks, checked off one by one mile after mile.

Our iconic shoes tree that was so rudely chopped down a couple of years ago is now being resurrected in a smaller twin cotton tree near by it's demise with shoes dangling from its out reaching branches.
